Meet Dr. Ian Persaud


Dr. Ian Persaud has been practicing preventive cardiology as well as primary care in the Hampton Roads area since 2013. He completed his Internal Medicine residency, Chief Residency, and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York, with additional board certifications in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.


He is one of the very few physicians in the area whose evidence-based treatments have been proven to reduce emergency room visits and hospitalizations, allowing patients to spend more time doing the activities they love.

HeartWell Health offers the opportunity for physician house calls, providing home visits for our members who are unable to attend office visits. We perform comprehensive physical examinations, and can even perform an EKG and heart ultrasound in the comfort of your home.
